Hey everyone!

I'm Leen and I'm new to Bell Tree. I've been playing Animal Crossing since the classic Gamecube. I absolutely love Animal Crossing, and am looking for some friends to Wi-Fi with I'm 24 so if there are any adult players that are looking for peeps to play with, I'm your peep!

Also, I'm currently trying to beautify my town right now so if anyone has any hints on how to unlock more public works projects I'd love any tips!

Hi Leen, welcome to the forums!

The main hint for how to unlock more public works projects is the swimming trick. I think you can only get one suggested a day though. If you want a certain public works project suggested from a specific villager, I've seen online a suggestion to trap them by digging holes around them. Also, make sure you don't have any bells and make sure your pockets are full of things people can't ask for (like flowers, tools, fossils, etc.) and that your letter slots are full so you can't be asked to bury a time capsule. You basically just put on your swimsuit, and swim in a corner to make sure no one sees you, and maybe stay there for about 5 minutes. I usually use a timer and go diving (but everything would be released because I wouldn't have space) to pass time. Then, make sure the villager you want the suggestion from sees you first. It may take a few times but it usually work for me!

Adult player too - been around since the classic GameCube.

stargate's tip about swimming should help get you more PWP (Public Works Project) requests - just remember that when they "Ping" (look surprised and run towards you) - that is the chance to get a PWP request.

Sometimes they will want to change their catchphrase, or ask you a question. But the requests only come when they "ping".

And feel free to dig into the boards and look into past threads - plot resetting is very popular, and check out as many dream addresses as you can to look at how other people "beautify" their towns.
