New to AC & Bell Tree

Hi, I just started playing ACNL about a month ago after I got it as a Christmas present.

I've never played Animal Crossing before so I have no idea which villagers are popular or unpopular and I'm still learning the game mechanics. I've grown attached to nearly all of my villagers and most of the special characters are very likeable.

So far I'm enjoying it because it's relaxing - a cute game about keeping animals happy and building a town is a good way to de-stress. I'm a bit of a hoarder, though, so I have to keep clearing out my storage!

I dithered for a few days about whether to join (I can be shy sometimes) and decided that I would so I can play with other people. The only other person I know who plays is an ACNH player. Hopefully I can find some online friends here.

Sorry for the late response, I've been busy the last few days.

To answer your questions...

Which villagers do you currently have, or which do you like the most?

I currently have:

• Astrid
• Bluebear
• Katt
• Jambette
• Coach
• Al
• Chops
• Hans
• Doc

I used to have Apollo too but he moved out about a week ago. I was sad to see him leave but his house was in an inconvenient place, so I was happy to see his house go.

Jambette is due to leave in a few days too. I actually have some questions about moving in. Is it ok to ask here or do I need to make a separate thread?

Picking just one favourite is hard, I'd have to say it's either Bluebear, Katt or Astrid. Bluebear and Astrid were starting villagers and Katt moved in later. I liked Bluebear right away, while Astrid took time to grow on me. This is going to sound silly... but I initially thought Katt was a criminal or something because she kept offering me cheap stuff from a mysterious friend.

What's your favorite favor to do for villagers?

Probably the ones where you catch them a critter. I like the element of unpredictability to it - they might ask for something that's easy to catch or something really difficult. The other day I managed to catch a coelacanth for Hans since it was snowing & he was so happy, bless.
