I've had Animal crossing since 2013 and farm millions of bells, but I come on here and have no idea what people mean by TBT or BTB.
I think Bells? Just wanna be sure before I start making deals with people like a dummy.
Can someone tell me what these mean and if there is any other things I should know now that I'm within the Animal Crossing community? :D

TBT/BTB= forum currency.
people use it to buy stuff like art, collectibles (the little icons under my avatar, they're just for looks they do nothing lol), villagers, games, etc.
you can earn them by making posts, or trading with others. don't spam though.

Usually when other members mentioned TBT/BTB,
they are probably referring to:

- this forum's virtual currency ( the Bell Tree Bells, or simply Bells.)
More on what/how/where regarding this currency...
http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?64715-The-Bell-System-Beginner-s-Guide

- the acronym for this site, The Bell Tree / TBT.

Forums like the Re-Tail is specialized in trading using in-game / AC Bells.
The TBT Marketplace is for all trades in the forum currency.

Also, there's quite an (inflated) market for exchanging BTB for in-game AC Bells (or vice versa)
The usual rate is *about* 100 BTB : 8 mil IGB.
So be aware of which currency you will be using, or accepting during trades.

Hope this would be somewhat helpful in answering your questions. C:

That's pretty cool, I didn't know this site had an awesome system like that.
Hey thanks for the info!
