Hey hey hey, welcome to the forums! What's the story behind Mitzi and Punchy becoming your favorite villagers? (Great choices, by the way)
In my first NL town when I was a child this random cat named Mitzi moved in, and I loved her right since then. As a kid does I forgot about the game for months and I found out she had moved out. I erased my town and asked my parents to get me Mitzi and Benjamin’s amiibo cards (he was my other fav at the time), and once they arrived and I invited Mitzi to move in, she selected the plot of land right next to my house. I knew she was my favorite for sure right that moment.
Punchy’s story is more recent. When I downloaded that special character birthday calendar Nintendo released I don’t know when, I saw his face on my birthday and did more research. He’s now a permanent villager in my town and island, I love sharing birthdays!
Fun fact: Punchy and Mitzi appear together in the box art for Animal Crossing for Gamecube!
