New to the Community, Open to Hanging Out!

[Spider Mother]

Hello Everyone.

I’m happy to see a community around Animal Crossing—I had been teetering on posting an introduction but it seemed perhaps proper.

I am a 26 year old preschool teacher, proud cat mother of four, and an avid tabletop roleplayer. (Though I won’t touch a D20 system with a ten foot pole)

I played New Leaf but hadn’t fallen in love with Animal Crossing until New Horizons. I’m pretty sure it’s because of terraforming as I am obsessed with creating my ideal island (and seeing what other people are up to).

I may have created an Entire Lore surrounding my island and the things we do here, not the least of which being “Oh Gods is that an Actual Spider God just hanging out on this island?” And “Well obviously we have A Graveyard, of course the island is haunted. Did you visit the Waterfalls yet?”

I don’t currently have a lot of friends to play with! I would be open to meeting others who don’t mind my being a little shy at first. (I get overwhelmed when there are too many people around)

Always been interested in tabletop RPGs but have never had local friends to play with. Have you dabbled with Tabletop Simulator?

Yes I have dabbled with it! It can be fun, though I spend a lot more time playing roleplay games re: I’m in a Powered by the Apocalypse game called Masks where you play as teenage super heroes. I also run a horror themed game about people who have come back to life and they are discovering the world of Magick and Spirits.
