New to this all! Need some help :)

I've had the game for about a month and still trying to figure it out. I need to do more to my island apparently. I've done some stuff but don't know what to really do. If anyone would like to come visit let me know ill send a dodo code! Love to make some new friends too

I've upgraded the home and also bought some packages online for bells and new furniture since I wasnt seeming to go anywhere on my own to get some good stuff or paying off would take forever. Other than that I tried to decorate a bit to the island just a bit lost what more to do or how to set things up where it makes sense.
