I was poking around and I found these videos hidden in the directory for the official AC:NH website but are unused assets.

We've seen her before (from the NintendoDream mag scans), but she wasn't in the full-size dump from Nintendo Germany!

The second video looks like it would be for a commercial or something. How strange!! The new fishing tourney looks fun. I wonder if they'll alternate between racing to catch the most fish and catching the biggest fish to keep things fresh?
 
The new Fishing Tourney looks great! Catching lots of fish to make points sounds like a fun challenge. Also, what is that mystery video about? I'm very curious now... :eek:
 
Likely that they'll be updating the site later on with these.
 
The second video just looks like a placeholder video to me
Other than that it's cool to see how the fishing tourney will work!
 
I love the updated fishing tourney, I thought it was just going to be the same thing from 19 years ago.

That 2nd clip is confusing, it doesn't look like Animal Crossing. Very mysterious

Nice work! Don't like the time based fishing tourney though, but I guess it beats having to hold the record until the evening. The sample footage just reminds me of Over the Hedge to be honest, like it just looks like an animated movie.

I hope it's not part of the game, I really don't want cinematic cutscenes.

I think this will be a nice take on the old fishing tourneys, it gives those of us who might usually miss out on it a fair chance to win c:
 
I imagine you'll get to try to "catch as many fish in 3 minutes" as often as you'd like throughout the day. I do prefer that over the biggest fish. However, I used to exploit the tourney by writing down the size of each fish, and would turn them in in order of smallest to largest to get the most amount of furniture/prizes. I guess that's out, now, unless you start with the next highest number in 3 minutes, then go from there each time.
