Hey guys! Let me start by saying I hope this is the right place to ask this. So 2 days ago on April 1 I noticed my final plot had been sold to Roscoe. I did not invite him from a mystery island, campsite, amiibo, or another's island. He was a random move in. On April 1 Cyd was moving in and yesterday, April 2, Marina was moving into her house so Roscoe was suppose to move in today. When I loaded up the game this morning I got the announcement from Isabelle about a new resident. I was only able to play for about 15 minutes this morning and didn't go to where Roscoe's house is so I'm unsure if it was like this earlier, but when I just went to visit him like I have done for all villagers who have moved in I couldn't go in his house. When I push A all it says is "I've moved out." I can't find him anywhere on my island so does that mean he really has moved out? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not terribly upset about him leaving cause I was kinda wanted that spot for someone else, but I'm worried about what this might mean for anyone else who may try to move in to fill my tenth spot.

New Villager Glitch question

Thanks for your response. My game is updated to 1.1.3
I'm not really sure what has happened. Just thought I would post and see if anyone else has experienced this and maybe warn others that it could happen. I'll update if it happens again when I get someone new to move in.
I haven't seen anything like this before, but the patch notes did mention that under certain conditions the game would have problems accessing save data. Maybe the patch did something, but I hope the house disappears for you tomorrow!
