New Villager Species in NH

Apologies if this topic has already been posted, but what new villager species would you like to see in NH? My friend always mentions how cool it would be to have bat villagers and you know what she isn't wrong.

Snakes would be nice. I don't think insects would make it as villagers as they were part of the museum and ensyclopedia in new leaf. Larger mamalls such as dinosaurs

But we already got frogs and turtles both as characters and in the museum -_-.
Also, dinosaurs are not mammals lmao

Having little beaver or raccoon villagers (like in the same size as squirrels) would be cool. Besides them, I
would love to see foxes and bats.

I would definitely like to see the special characters species as villagers. They are some of my favorite species of animals in real life and I'd love to see new designs for them. Particularly foxes, alpacas, owls and sloths.

As for species that are brand new to the series, I'm Team Bat all the way, bats are adorable! I'd also like to see red pandas, badgers, weasels or ferrets and lizards. If we can't have an actual fox, at least give us a fennec fox!

I'd also love to see different designs within existing species. Different breeds of dogs with different face shapes and sizes or smaller cats for "kittens".

I don't think we'll be getting new villager species, but I'd love to see bats, more "diverse" birds (different shapes and sizes, like Carlo, Beppe and Giovanni), lizards (geckos, chameleons, salamanders and so on) and maybe sharks and foxes.

I get keeping some species exclusive to special characters because it makes them stand out more. But at the same time I think it is a huge waste. Giraffes (Gracie), Panthers (Katrina) and Raccoons (Nook and Nooklings) are all amazing animals and I would love to see more of them and other non-villager species in Animal Crossing. Maybe add just a few of them to keep a balance.

Monkeys used to be exclusive to Porter in ACGC and cats has always been both for special characters and villagers, so it can be done.
