New Year's Eve Plans?

Happy New Years Eve!
I wish I could have plans for today but sadly I work =[
(Just one year I wish I could actually kiss my boyfriend at midnight, maybe someday...)

We used to do lots of fun stuff when I was younger, like bang pots and pans and even a few times (not so legally) lighting off fireworks! I remember once even me and my sister kept sneaking sips off our parent's champagne and got all tipsy. XD

I'm basically party crashing a familia celebration...
I was invited, but I'm the only non family, only invited because I recently moved to the country (and I'm guessing they felt bad for me)
I hope it will be fun, I just arrived and feel a bit out of place xD
But at least I'll experience a traditional Japanese new year so that's gonna be interesting

I think the best New Years I've ever had was when I lived on this awesome neighborhood and we'd block off one way of the road and had a bunch of food and drinks for the grown ups, music blasting, a jumpy house for us kids and we had sparklers and stuff. We all got sugar high on soda and deserts and my mom was drunk so we "convinced" her to come into the jumpy house with us, she ended up breaking her leg so she got to go the hospital and come home in crutches. XD Good times.

i don't have any plans, unfortunately. but i am having lunch with my grandfather, so i guess i won't be home all day for once lmao

Normally we stay up until after midnight watching the Hogmanay festivities on TV while snacking and drinking, but I'll be amazed if I can stay awake until 12 because I've caught a ****ty fever over the holiday. I really want to stay up though.

My whole family is getting sick right now, so I've been having sinus migraines the past two days. It sucks that all this sick goes around for the holidays all the time. Like Merry Christmas, here's a flu.

When I was a kid I had this 101 Dalmatians tent thing. My parents set it up and I'd hang a flashlight from the top...gather my stuffed animals...and every hour reveal one name for my top 10 stuffed animals of the year
