I’m new to this forum , I used to always use Facebook groups but came off social media a couple of years ago for my mental health.
Now I’ve restarted my island and I really miss interacting with people and visiting other islands, so I would love to make friends and visit each other!
I hope you enjoy it here. I haven't been playing ACNH much lately, but there are lots of active players, so I hope you find friends to visit! Do you have any plans for your restarted island? Any villagers you're hoping to find?
Hi there, and welcome to the forums. I left Facebook and other social medias years ago. They are terrible platforms for mental health. Forums have a much better environment. I'm certain you'll enjoy your time here.

trust me, this site feels great for mental health. People around you who like the same things as you, without the bad feelings that come along with it! I've loved it even in my short 2-month time being here.
Welcome! You will always find kindred spirits here! Everyone is so giving of their time and knowledge and generous with helping new players out! I am sure you will love it here. As others have also said....I left social media right before the pandemic for my mental health and I don't miss it!

i totally get and respect your decision to leave social media. your mental health is so important, and social media can be unbelievably draining and damaging at times. i’ve thought about leaving social media a lot myself, but for now i’ve just settled for barely using it haha. i hope being off of it has improved your mental health!
i’m afraid i don’t play new horizons all that much anymore, but good luck with your new island! is new horizons your first animal crossing game?

I left social media a while ago too because I was just tired of the whirlwind of negativity and craziness in there. Now my time is much better spent doing other things since leaving
