Next direct?

I'd love for one to be in December but it'll most likely be sometime closer to the release date.

My good guess is that it will be in January. It's right after the holidays and the major games coming up in the next few months, so they will be able to give a good amount of information by then. Also, it just seems right to be in January, but who knows? They might have one next month, or in December. :)

December is likely the earliest, though we might get a small update or two before then. We'll likely see a dedicated AC Direct in February or early March.

Next major Direct? Any time between Mid-January to Mid-February, never beyond the second week of the month.

As for an Animal Crossing specific Direct, they have occurred in October/November before, but I wouldn't count on it. Early March is a good possibility.

December isn't entirely out of the question, but I wouldn't count on it. Their news then mostly revolves around core announcements at The Game Awards.

I'd have to say probably early January. Any Directs left for 2019 would likely just cover the games coming for the rest of this year.

I hope that the next AC direct will be in December but there is a higher probability that we will have one in January/February unfortunately...sounds so far away

I got tricked last year, I thought we would be getting a direct after the septembre one, but nope. Only a smash one.
So I don't have any hopes for that tbh! I'll just go with January, but probably one month prior release, so February, if we're talking about an AC Direct.

All sounds so far away. I have 3 new games coming out so hopefully thatll be distracting

It looks like there's always been a Nintendo Direct in November, but it's always focused on one topic (such as the SSBU Direct last year), so I sort of doubt we'll get anything until next year, since there's still so much time until the release.

Not to get anyones hopes up or anything, but all Animal Crossing themed Directs have occurred in October and November.

October 12th, 2012 : New Leaf Direct
November 2nd, 2016: Welcome Amiibo
October 24th, 2017: Pocket Camp

New Leaf Direct = A month before JP release of New Leaf.
Welcome Amiibo = Day of Release.
Pocket Camp = About the same time as the early test release and a month before the global release.

Had the game not been delayed, we would have likely gotten an AC Direct this month or next month.

Yeah I know, hence the "Not to get anyones hopes up". It's just interesting to note is all.

A general direct would likely be in January as everyone else said. As for a NH direct, two or three weeks before launch seems about right.

It will likely be January or February unless Nintendo decides to do a focused Direct that only shows footage of AC:NH in which case it could be in November or December, but thats unlikely.

October and November are probably unlikely, as Luigi's Mansion and Pokemon coming out in these
months. December is too early for an Direct I guess, could imagine that they maybe drop an trailer
or some general information outside an Direct on social media (like twitter) and YouTube. So I would
say a typical Nintendo Direct may comes out in either January or February with a hint of an Animal
Crossing only Direct coming out around the same time.

This is gonna be a long 5 or so months. I haven't felt this excited for a game in years..good thing life is busy, I guess.
