Actually, I live in Hangzhou but most people don't know where Hangzhou is, so I tell everyone I'm from Shanghai, which is only an hour away by train, so it's almost like I'm from there -_-;; *shot*

I've been playing AC:NL since late August and now that I have a steady access to Wifi, decided that I wanted to invite people over to my town and in turn, visit other people's towns.

I'm a full-time writer during my day job so I use AC:NL as a nice, stress-relieving device and so far, it's done very well for reducing my stress levels.

Anyways, I'm really glad to be here and hope to make friends with you guys soon!

你好!
for a minute there i thought you lived in my family's home town (Huizhou) but oops!
welcome to BTF and enjoy your stay~ ♡

Welcome to TBT :)
It's nice to meet other asians!
I've been in Hangzhou last year, love the 西湖! *-* Now I want to visit again lol
Have fun here <3

Thanks for the warm welcome! ^^ I really like this forum, but I was so surprised to find out I cannot access this forum without resorting to a VPN.

I wonder if it has anything to do with all the firewalls china's government puts up.

Anyways

WELCOME!

Thanks for the welcome, Zander.

^^;; Unfortunately a lot of sites are blocked in mainland China such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google Docs, but I can't seem to understand why this forum would be blocked O___O

i know how China feels about stuff liek Time Travel. I know Doctor Who is pretty much banned. And time travel is brought up a lot here....so....maybe that

Thanks for the welcome, Zander.

They're onto us!

Welcome to the forums. :)

Because China's censorship laws do not allow citizens to communicate with people outside of China, or at least, limit the amount of outsider communication. So I'd assume they'd block the forum to avoid that.

nice to see you're kinda breaking to law to join the community

welcome young thug.

The strange thing is, I think it might very well be keywords this site is logged under. Mainly, I think this is so because my husband can log into Serebii forums (for Pokemon X) without having to resort to using the VPN.

But this is, honestly, the best community I've found in regards to AC: NL and having to use a VPN to get here is no problem at all ^^ It's worth it!
