Nintendo 3ds help!

Hello guys, I have an original pink 3ds and I kinda want a new version because they look cooler and mine is getting older. I am at crossroads as I can save up for a 3ds or buy a 2ds, I am so confused in which one to buy! I play Pokemon in 3d on my 3ds but not on any other title so should I get the 2 or 3? I have my eye on the style boutique 3ds. Anyone have thoughts on both and help me in the right direction?

Just buy a 3DS. You'll be much happier with it in the long run.

I probably agree that you should get the 3DS. If you have your eye on a certain one you'll be more happy if you save for it. People who need to save the money or just like having extra oddball systems are the audience for the 2DS I think.

Tbh if the 2DS folded I'd probably get it since I don't use the 3D but it's weird and bulky :c

I'd suggest an (old) 3ds xl if they still have those where you live and you can afford it, I prefer those because of the smooth shape and easy grip even if I have small hands. I just like the surface better and they had some of the best LE consoles as well.

Tbh you don't really need the new unless you wanna play Xenoblade or SNES games or really need the smooth amiibo use(you can get nfc readers for the old models)

yeah 2DS is really only if you have a budget concern or if you drop your devices a lot.

where i live the New 3DS XL is actually cheaper than the old plain 3DS XL...

Ontopic: I think, like everyone's saying, you should get a 3ds, 2ds is very weird in my opinion
