I was watching it streaming online today, but I found someone uploaded a video about it on Youtube.

i'm sure there will be a Wii U version at some point, considering there has been an animal crossing game on most Nintendo systems, but it hasnt been announced yet and probably won't be for some time

its been almost 5 years since a new ac title has been announced

Announced? Yeah. Released? It's only been since June (or was it July) 2013 that ACNL came out. Japan got it a few months before but it isn't that long.

Seeing the new MK8 AC track made me want a Wii U AC game even more because of how stunning the stage looked, but I don't see anything wrong with waiting. There are tons more games to play.

With information on the new NX console coming in 2016, I don't expect the Wii U's lifespan to be that much longer. I think we'll be getting the NX around 2018 or so. So if they're gonna make an AC for Wii U, they're running out of time.

its been almost 5 years since a new ac title has been announced

even so, the game is a lot more popular than it was 10 years ago, and they probably wanted to make another kind of AC game. either way they can do what they please! AC New Leaf has been out for about a year and a half so there will probably be some info about a Wii U version in the next nintendo direct

I missed the direct but just saw this. It's beginning to be a bit overwhelming to have to buy amiibos and cards and scanners to get the most out of all games. Interior decorating made easy. Finally.

The new Nintendo home console is coming in 2017, in about 2 years. We are exactly at 2,5 years in the Wii U's life. An Animal Crossing game will not be released in the last year of the lifecycle of the console. So either they announce it this E3 (or during the following summer), or we are not getting an Animal Crossing game from Nintendo in the Wii U's lifetime.

Game looks really nice... but it's like a minigame? idk...
Is that the only content available or is there any other video regarding that game?
I think we might get surprised in the near future by other options in the game since decorating homes on it's own is kinda lackluster...

Idk it seems more like a cash cow than anything. A mini-game that you have to keep buying new cards for to keep playing? Unless they're putting out serious freebies with it which I doubt. I honestly think they're just capitalizing on the obsessiveness of animal crossing fans to fund new projects.

Agreed and now that I've watched the video and saw that u have to get a separate scanner for it imkinda meh about it

They were so vague about the game at the direct and honestly, I'm kinda skeptical...but I'm going to buy it anyways because Animal Crossing.
