Nintendo Switch Digital to Physical Data

Hi! I have a question about save data on the switch. One of my favorite games, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, is getting a physical release. I originally bought it digitally and would like to purchase the physical copy. I have save data on the game. What will happen if I put in my physical copy? Can data transfer back and forth? Does it take time? Thank you!

As the Switch Game Cards lack saving feature by themselves, they will save in your Switch’s internal memory. In most cases, both physical and digital versions of a game will share the same save data.

I?m not too sure about the save thing, but if you haven?t bought the physical version yet do it now! I?ve been watching their stock and this game is selling way quicker than the others. And with only 3500 copies you don?t want to miss out!
