Very recently, Nintendo put up their new tech forums, a place to ask questions and help others with troubleshooting. Overall, it looks much better then the last version (in my opinion).

Well, the forum administarator "NOA TECH JANE," has locked the forums overnight, but they will be up later this morning.

Maybe they did this because they had to keep the forums open for tech support since it said so in the game manuals.

I wonder if this was the thing NP said would happen in the beginning of 08... or maybe there actually is a replacement. I doubt NP would consider tech forums as a replacement for NSider.

Basically, it's crap nonetheless. I mean, I got banned for a week for no reason and I didn't even do anything wrong. Sure it's so high technical, but seriously, I don't understand why they have to be so strict. Also I saw NOA_Mike the night it opened and I said high, and the sad news is, he's no longer a mod.


Another thing is, Nintendo Power is making a forum of their own, this is not the Nsider replacement. It's more of an Nsider Tech forum. Still, I was helping out some users and some of the boards were confusing, nonetheless, no discussions. :wintergyroid:

Well it really wasn't made for that. It's not there for discussions, just tech support.

I just think it is completely stupid if they don't bring back a normal Nintendo discussion forum. I can name more games than I have fingers that I got hyped up for simply from those forums, and I went out and bought those games.

I believe they may decide to re-build NSider from scratch in the far future.
As you can see, as soon as they released the Tech Forums, people decided to totally spam it out. That's pathetic.

If they disappear for a while, people may decide to forget about it and the spam attacks won't happen again for a long while.
I can't know for sure, though.

Perhaps that's what they're working on..

If such forum did re-open, there would most likely be different mods and it wouldn't be ran by Andy. So you never know. ^.^
