No luck with recipes

Ack having no luck getting any but the store cooking recipes

My villagers have taught me a few so far. I also learned 1 from a message bottle, and some from fishing.

My advice. Visit all your villagers every other hour. Some will be crafting while others may be cooking. You might find some in balloons, IDK. Other than that, obtaining them is the same as DIYs. You have to use opportunities to get them.

I haven’t found any recipes either. I also haven’t found any new clothes or furniture.

Try to visit your villagers sometimes you’ll find them cooking and they’ll teach you. I wonder though if it’s only those villagers who have kitchen equipment can do this because ofc where will other villagers cook if they don’t have any of the furniture required right?

I've only had one instance where I've walked in on a villager cooking. I wonder if it's more rare than crafting?

I think it depends whether you have a lot of villagers with kitchen / cooking sets in their houses? But I’m not sure I’m just going off assumptions here.

Carmen was the one cooking, and she doesn't have anything kitchen related in her home. I think the stove/cookware just appears when they have a recipe to give :3

I'm not having any luck with any of the new recipes, cooking or DIY. My villagers are still in love with the same crap they've always made.
