Not always. I exercise every day in the week and I'm shattered by the evening but I still can't sleep. Can you try some of the natural sleeping tablets? I have to take prescribed ones otherwise I would be up all night too
Your body internal clock is out of whack, especially if you constantly go to bed super late.
I know that it'll usually consist of you waking up at a later time. You can try forcing yourself to get up despite how tired you are.
Try sleeping in a cool room.
Eating usually makes you tired so that can help.
Do something boring.
oh god i feel you. my body clock is ****ed too too and most of the time i sleep at 4am but ive been sleeping at 2am recently coz im busy. try going to bed/force yourself to sleep earlier and follow your early sleep schedule for a period of time then your body may get used to it. maybe insomnia could be a contributing reason as to why you're like that. i suffer insomnia and sometimes i cant sleep even if its 5am so ya. if its insomnia go find a cure for it and then during the day go budy yourself with something and you'll be sleeping like a log during the night. that was what i did and every time i come home from a busy ill feel like sleeping.
Listen to relaxing music/relaxing sounds like beach waves crashing or the sound of rain. That always sends me off to sleep. Also taking baths really helps me too, it lets you unwind and relax so you kind of get into a calmer frame of mind.
But you can't sleep because your body clock is out of sync. Don't sleep during the day. Stay up, and then when you feel super tired (around the evening) go to bed then.
Going camping resets your internal clock and gets you back on a normal sleep regimen. I suggest that or if it continues try some sleeping pills, they have melatonin which helps a lot of people get sleepy enough to go to bed, or there is ZQuil or Benedryll which usually help me. If none of that works and it stays a problem I'd go to the doctors and get some real sleeping pills.
One time I smoked myself silly trying to go to sleep because I hadn't slept for 3 days straight! I didn't feel a thing and I didn't fall asleep. Sometimes you just get so out of sync that even that won't do anything.
Make sure you're eating good throughout the day as well that helps with sleep patterns. Also, I've found that just trying to dream causing my mind to wander and somewhere in that I fall asleep.
I feel the same way. Sometimes I stay up as late as 6 am , And I always force myself to wake up around 1-2pm despite being dead tired everyday, lately I just can't sleep D: maybe its stress idk.
What helps me though is taking a relaxing hot bath, and then going on my phone or laptop to read. I usually read things from reddit or forums (since I'm not really into reading books and novels)
