I just traded Marshal for Zucker, and so now I TT'ed 7 days ahead and am resetting using the New Save File trick. But no plots are appearing.. What's up with that? Do I need to play first on my mayor or something? I would but I don't want to risk Zucker putting a plot in an undesirable area.. Which is the exact reason why I had Marshal move out in the first place.

Help

Did you do the trade and then just TT ahead seven days? Did you make sure Marshal's house was gone first before you started TTing?
Which would be Marshal leaves, go forward a day to get rid of his house and save, and then TT seven days?

On the day his house said "Moved" I saved, then TT'ed forward 8 days actually. Should I have saved once more the next day on my mayor or something?

Yes, you should have saved once, the next day after he moved, so that his house would be gone. His house might not show up when you're eight days ahead, but you haven't saved to lock that in.

Maybe TT to the day after he moved out and save. I don't think a plot will show up, since the last time you saved was the day he moved out.

Got it. I'm going to save on my new character just to make sure that for that day Zucker won't make his plot, then go on my mayor, save, then delete my new character, than go to the next day, do the new character thing, and look for his plots. The things this game is making me do...

Thanks though!

Ok This happened to me too, I TT 5/6 days ahead one day at a time and I didn't see my merengue, I went back to the original date that I had her say yes to move in and save and quit, then match the time with my game and ds then TT one day ahead and she appeared? Not sure how the mechanics behind it works as I was sure that I have lost her for good
