NOO!

Yeah I agree with everyone. Just press the power button on the Wii or Wii Remote (depends if remote still works with Wii) and to take an extra step unplug the Nintendo Wii console and then plug in after 5 seconds or so. Since the power is not completely "off" when you press the power button since it goes into WiiConnect24 mode staying connected to the internet. You might also want to check out www.support.nintendo.com if these things do not work. Oh and I don't think this is a spammy thread I believe it should be in the Wii sub section under Gamer's Lounge.

;)

I've tried holding teh power button and that rarely works when mine freezes.

Always happens to my Wii...just unplug your Wii whether its out of the wall, surge strip, or whatever. I've probably unplugged my Wii 20 times.

o_O I've never unplugged my wii because of a freeze, just hold the freaking power button.

and my wii has frozen what... twice?

edit: 5 times if you count the times in TP when I found how to always make it freeze

:p

Well, before we got the internet working I would try and it would just keep trying to connect and I did that a bunch of times. And then on Saturday when I was testing out the new channels none working except shop, internet, and the normal ones so I had to unplug it then.

One Wii-zey free-zey. Oh dear Lord I hope I never say something like that again... I just unplugged it and it was all good.
