Nook's Tent Being Upgraded.

So when his tent is being upgraded, I can't use the ATM at all....? Or spend my nook miles?

In my game he told me this morning that the tent will be closed tomorrow for the upgrade, and whilst this is the case I won't be able to access the Nook Terminal or Recycling bin. So yes, unfortunately it looks like you won't be able to spend Nook Miles whilst the tent is closed. However, I would assume you could go to another person's Island and use their terminal? Or have someone visit you and give you a Nook Miles ticket to visit another Island?

Yikes, I wish I would have known this. Thankfully it's a solo day, but you'd think they wouldn't deny access to the ATM from the player.

You can't use another person's terminal. Also he probably did say it, and I totally overlooked it, so that is a fault of my own.[I think, because I remember someone saying how they couldn't pull bells out when they were in someone's town]

I believe this is a case like back in New Leaf, when the shops were updated or the museum in NH. Don’t worry, I doubt it will be longer than a day

It takes one day and it won't work if you go to another town to try use the machine.

The next day when you log onto the machine, it says it has automatically set your Nook Miles Login Bonus to 7+ days, regardless of what it was before so you don't miss out on a days worth of bonus miles.
