I have two Lily of the Valley so I know I had perfection at some point, I went to ask Isabelle about what the villagers think of the Town and she said that they wished there were more buildings/structures, that there are a lot of open space or something like that. But I already reached the limit of things I can build. Thoughts?

hi! i know it’s been a couple weeks since this was posted but i still wanted to try and help out in case you needed it/ anybody stumbled onto this with the same problem in the future.

while having max pwp can be a good thing, some projects have a negative effect on your town rating (think trash can, illuminated light arch, etc.).

there are also different categories of projects and while you can achieve perfection with max pwp, you need to make sure there is a balance between your types of projects. useful pwp (bridges, benches, etc), decoration (think trellis) or ones they don’t like such as the trash can. (You can still have these pwp like the trash can but you do need to make up for it with extra bushes/ flowers/ trees)

I would be curious to know what changed between you getting jacobs ladders and your rating dropping. Did you remove any flowers/ bushes/ trees? Did you build any new projects? Is everything the same? (Which would be weird seeing as you had perfect days prior and if nothing changed, the rating should stay consistent).

If you removed any foliage, try replanting and see if that helps. If you recently did a new project and the villagers don’t like it, that may be the culprit.
