Well, it's been just a bit over 2 months since I got off my crutches...and it was the week before that when I pulled a lower back muscle playing soccer...and man, was that a pain in the you-know-what. I was stupid and kept playing on it...and probably made it worse...and right when it was starting to feel a bit better (most liekly thanks to painkillers), I strained my knee...

Well, anyways, I was playing some football outside in the yard with my bro today (in the 9 inches of snow :p), and he had just done a kickoff, and I was returning it...and whaddya know, I broke another tackle of his. While I was running to the endzone (aka the driveway), I felt a pain in my lower back, and whaddya know - same place as when I pulled the muscle down there a couple months ago. It's not as bad this time, since I stopped right after I felt it, but it's still pretty painful, and non-stop pain. I gotta go find me some ibuprofein.

Stretch more!!!

At least I think that helps prevent pulled muscles right?

Anyway god luck with that, I have been fortunate enough to not have to feel that kind of pain...although I see artheritis in my future... So far it seems being good at taking falls and blows has been enough. I fall a decent amount but i am very good at limiting the damage to scrapes and bruises. I am also decent at taking punches and stuff like that.

A little advice though, never box a boxer if you never have before....I took several hits to my head, the first couple being serious before he realized how I really didn't know what I was doing (blocking your head is important after all)...I came out with only a headache though. As for why I was boxing in the first place....use your imagination!

i stretch...before actual games and practices...not before playing football in the front yard lol...

anyways, i remember the trainer at school gave me like 2 strectches for my lower back when i hurt it the 1st time...but i forgot them. >.<

i really hope this just goes away by monday though...i've had 2 too many painful injuries in the past couple months already.

Do a lot of streching and resting. The good part you can play twice the video games.

Probably not the same thing, i'm betting its got more to do with the cold.... seeing as cold can set off alot of neat crap in your back... like today i was walking up a ladder at work and my back totally *****ed out, i dunno what went wrong, i was just standing there, but it was freaking cold... i know most back injuries happen when its cold... and while you're doing something, like skiing. >_>

Well skiing your moving alot.Unless you are going slow. But yeah you do get back pain.Or the rare lip pain.
