Not getting anyone in campsite?

Hey guys quick question!

I am a TTer clearly, and I got the campsite couple of days ago. My friend villager in the site was Colton, he moved in. Since then I have not got any new villagers at the campsite! Colton has literally already moved out, I have bought plots and randoms have moved in as well but surprisingly no one in the site.

Anyone have any ideas?

i used go days without a camper in new leaf so its probably gonna be the same situation here. i think your best bet is to try nook islands for now

Just like in NL, I think the campsite isnt meant to be the main or reliable way of getting villagers. I think the dev's clearly intended the island trips to be the main way of recruiting villagers. Campsite is for occasional visits or amiibo purposes

I've had the same issue. I haven't had a camper since my first one (which also happened to be Colton).
