I haven’t been getting any villager requests to move out (literally only two since I started playing) and no campers (only one, the forced one, if I don’t count amiibo)

could time traveling cause these to not happen? I time traveled days at a time just to try and get ANYONE to tell me they wanna go. Even if it was someone I wanted to keep I would say no of course but they still didn’t even tell me anything. And no campers for days. I’ve also ignored Beardo and Merengue for days, I’m pretty confused.

I'm not time traveling and my 9th is moving in tomorrow. I unlocked terraforming on Friday and been playing day by day since launch and NOBODY has pinged me to move yet. Yet my girlfriend has had two move out pings and shes been playing the same amount of days as me. Its weird.

idk what causes villagers to want to move anymore. i just said i didnt want any move-ins or move-outs bc im redoing my town, but elisa just asked me to move and ive never been more shook in my life. both her & chops i didnt want in my town, and i had planned on ignoring them but instead i just resorted to talk to them like, once per day and never giving them letters while i talked to all my other villagers multiple times per days (and gave them letters). i had 10 villagers, so i dont know if that affects anything. but it does seem to happen so dont give up hope yet!!

I think the more villagers you have, the more someone will think of moving? I don’t TT. I have 10 and just had KK yesterday. I got a camper I wanted so I replaced one villager with the camper. She was instantly in boxes. I was shocked. Anyway, she moved out today and the house plot says sold to the camper. But then another villager asked to move today. I didn’t let her though. Maybe they ask more frequently in a full town?

I have 10 villagers too though ugh. And I mean, I go day by day checking the campsite and checking my villagers to see if anyone wants to leave but nothing.

So does ignoring them not actually make them wanna leave? Is there actually not a 100% true way to get them to move?

The only sure 100% way to get a specific villager to move is to force them out via amiibo card.

My girlfriend talks to her villagers every day and gives them stuff every day and doesnt ignore anyone and two of her villagers (one shes had from the start and one she found on an island a few days after she started) pinged her to move. Today one of them is in boxes.

I dont think ignoring them does anything tbh.

Ever since my first camper who was Quillson, I've had 4 campers in the past week which is insane! I had Bertha, Lionel, Cheri, and of course Marshal last night which I literally wanted to scream!
