👋Hi! I've been here for a couple of months but just found out about this! 😅 I learn new things every day on this site. I'd thought I could share some tips for newcomers to help them out.❤

  1. TBT is the currency on the website. You can use it for trading with people. It's gained by being active. Like posting forums, replying, etc.
  2. You can add a personalized "signature" by going to your account settings and changing your signature. You can add photos, text, and more. that's the fun pictures at the bottom of other players replies and posts.
  3. To give TBT to another player click the person's account and then click bells then click donate. Enter your amount and add a nice message if you want.
  4. Post often, it gets you out more into the community and you get more offers. Also, you'll get more TBT.
  5. Post on wishlist threads and trading threads so more people see your content.
  6. Make a wishlist and for trade list at Nook exchange. It's a free website a lot of people use to show what they have and want. It's fast and easy to use. Has multiple languages too! (not sponsored)
  7. Try to get on as much as possible and check your messages frequently. Make sure to refresh the page. Nobody likes to wait too long to get answered.
  8. Be mindful. People here are from all over the world and of all ages. If they don't respond they might be asleep because there its 4 am.
  9. Be kind and courteous. Don't bully or be rude to other people. Report people that are.
🤙That's what I've learned from the few months I've been on here. Please feel free to add more! Hope this helps!🤗

Welcome to TBT! Thank you so much for compiling these into a list. I feel like a broken record sometimes explaining things. 😅

I might switch to Nook Exchange or just end up using it alongside Nookazon so I have my catalog list on two different sides. One of the things I like about the latter site is, unlike Nookazon, you can easily see how to obtain the item and/or whether or not it is orderable from the catalog.

I do like how Nookazon makes different categories for the customization options for like the pink mug for example (i.e. cheese, carrot, etc.)
