I thought you guys might be interested in periodic updates on the novel I'm writing... So here's the first one!

Paradox will be a major theme in the story, though it will only be evident near the end. Also, supernatural deities play a huge role, as do supernatural occurrences. I have also decided not to describe characters too much so as to leave it up to the reader to interpret all that.

That's what my reading teacher does before we read a story.

I believe that is an error in reasoning my dear friend. That's like saying:

A dog is an animal, a cat is an animal so a dog is a cat.

If you were my English teacher you'd know that. D=

A dog is an animal, a cat is an animal so a dog is a cat.
