I recently found out that when you pick up some mushrooms they turn into furniture... hmmm..

Mushroom Finding: There are a ton of hidden mushrooms around your town, when you pick them up there's a random chance of them turning into furniture. There's a whole mushroom set to collect. If the mushrooms don't turn into furniture there's pretty much no use for them apart from selling to Nook, but I believe the prices can go up to 1000 bells (the max price i've seen for a mushroom)
