On Elm Street, on the 85th year of the 19th century, there lived a man, a lonely man. Though, he enjoyed it. Every year, on Halloween, kids would come and vandalize his house. He would let it pass, "kids will be kids" he always used to say to himself as he laughed. Truth be told, he loved kids. He had always wanted some of his own. Had it not been for his late wife, he might have some. Oh how he loved that woman. She had died twenty years after their marriage of cancer at the age of sixty-seven. He spent most of his savings on that funeral, for he wanted her to have a funeral more extravagant than her wedding. On the day of that funeral, which was Halloween, a man died - a mass killer, named Freddy Kruger. Everyone was in shock, for he had never died before. (Well, technically, he had died before, but he just kept coming back.) Everyone was worried that his spirit would return on the day of his death to take the children, once again, in their sleep. Everyone stayed inside, while the man went to his wife's funeral. Even the pastor had failed to show. Not even halfway through the funeral, some kids came and sat down. The man was stunned and stared down the kids for a good minute, and then said, "kids, you know it is not safe to be outside right now. With Kruger and all that!" The kids looked at one another until one of them, named Phillip (the second oldest), spoke up, "Mr. Vilson, all of us have lived here our entire lives. We came by your house and visited with you and your wife after school every single day." "She would give us cookies!" Sandy, the youngest yelped. "Look, Mr. Vilson, we wouldn't miss this if there was an alien invasion taking place on the news!" Scott, the oldest, proclaimed. Timmy stood up and started speaking, "unless they were using robots that-" Scott cut him off by giving him a stern look. "Sorry" Timmy said quietly, and then sat down. "You two were a part of this neighborhood. Without her, it's like a piece of this street is gone. You two were the life of this street. Now, it seems the joy has died."
Mr. Vilson was taken aback. These kids, out of everyone, came to his wife's funeral. He could not help but cry. "Well thank you kids. This means a lot. To me..." He looked at the casket, "And to Stacy." Then, he continued on with the ceremony. Afterwords, Scott, Kevin, Phillip, and Mr. Vislon picked up the casket and headed towards the graveyard with the others following and crying.
It was a dark day, literally. The clouds had gathered over the graveyard as she was buried. Something dark was happening, at that moment, somewhere, near..._________________________________________________"Mehehehe. Mr. Ghost! Rise!" A dark figure said inside of the graveyard house.

The monster moaned as it headed towards the kids and Mr. Vilson. Scott took out a small handgun. "Wher-where did you get that?" Mr. Vilson yelled, still in shock. "Dad wouldn't let me out without it." Scott emptied a full clip into the beast, splitting it in half; both halves fell to the ground. "Haha! Can't beat me now can you?" They all turned around and started to walk away, but then the halves stood up and formed new beasts. Now there were two! "Oh sh-" "RUN!" Mr. Vilson yelled. All twelve kids ran, but Mr. Vilson slipped and fell. Scott turned around, but the creatures were pulling Mr. Vilson back. Scott grabbed his arms.
"No! Go! Leave me!" Vilson yelled!
"Never!" Scott yelled, but he was being pulled in too.
"I'm sorry, but I have to go now!" Vilson let go of Scott and was pulled back.
"NO!!!" As Vilson went back, he started to speak,
"Scott! In My house! The sword! "What?" But he was gone._________________________________________________"What now, Scott?" Maxine scraped her feet against the ground as they walked back into town. Scott did not hear her, he just kept thinking. "Scott?" No response. "SCOTT!"
"Huh? Sorry, just thinking. What did he mean by sword? His house. What will it do? It must have been important... We have to get to his house!"
"But hey, remember what the Vilsons said? Their house held 'dark secrets' and that we should never go in there!" Judy cried.
"We have to! No telling when those guys are coming back." Scott replied.
"That might be sooner than you think." Phillip said.
"Huh?"
Just then, twenty zombies rose from the ground around them. "We have to make a break for it!" Judy screamed, full of adrenaline. "Judy! Wait!" Scott yelled, but it was too late. She was going to try and break through, but as soon as she hit the barricade, she fell back. Three zombies grabbed her and pulled her under. Her screams of terror stunned Scott. As the zombies enclosed, hands appeared from the ground and caught their ankles. They fought against it, but three of them, Timmy, Sandy, and Kevin, were the first that were taken under. Scott and Phillip were the only ones left, being dragged and pushed under. The eldest was still to stunned to move. "Scott! SCOTT! COME ON! GET IT TOGETHER!" Phillip yelled. Scott was unresponsive. Phillip finally broke free of the hands, but Scott was still being pulled under, slower, as if the laws of quicksand applied here too. Phillip grabbed Scott by the arms and yanked him out, he then slapped Scott. He snapped out of it, but they still had one problem - the zombies.
"Phillip!"
"Hm?"
"You still have that nasty smoking habit?"
"Pshhh... No... Yes..."
"Good! I mean bad, we'll talk about that later. Anyways, you got your lighter on you?"
"Of course!"
"Good, because I have a plan. Let me have it."
Phillip tossed Scott the lighter and Scott broke off the cap.
"ARE YOU INSANE?" Phillip yelled, "that thing cost be twenty bucks!"
"Then you, my friend, got ripped off."
Scott took out his pocket knife and used it to adjust the knob on the lighter. He then took out three bullets he had left, which would not be able to take out the zombies alone, mind you, and tossed them to the ground. Scott cut a piece of his shirt off and tied it around the on button on the lighter. The flame ignited, and he placed the lighter on the ground. "Duck!" Scott yelled, as he threw the bullets over the lighter. The bullets exploded, hitting all of the zombies. "BINGO!" Let's get out of here!"
Scott and Phillip approached the Vilson's house. "Wha-What are we gonna do about the others?" Phillip questioned. Scott looked down and cringed, "I-I-I don't know... But this sword might help!" Scott yelled triumphantly.
"How do you know? How do you know that it will help us?"
"Because I just do?"
"Great, so we're running on your premonition then?"
"Phillip! Remember that game we used to play as kids?"
"Which one?"
"The one where we would pretend to fly?"
"Yea, but we never did."
"Yes, it did. In our minds, it did!"
"You do realize what you just said sounds crazy, don't you? Where are you going with this?"
"If we believe in it enough, it will happen."
"'If you build it, they will come?'"
"Not quite. Just trust me on this, okay?"
"Only because you're my friend."
They both sat down to think of a strategy, but Scott fell asleep._________________________________________________Thirty minutes later, Scott woke up and looked around. "Phillip? OH CRAP! WHERE ARE YOU?"
"I'm right here!" Phillip yelled, bursting out of the house.
"PHILLIP! THE PLAN WAS-"
"To wait and make a plan and blah blah blah. At least I got the sword, not much of a sword though."
Phillip handed Scott a package.
"What's this?"
"Your 'sword."
Scott unraveled the package. "A... book?"
"Wait! Something's on it! Under the dust!" Phillip blew off the dust to find some symbols on it. "הקודש התנ"ך"
"Huh? What's that?"
"Hebrew... Hey, I'm Jewish!" Phillip cried.
"Okay? And?"
"I think I can read it!"
"Okay? So what are you stalling for?"
Phillip stuck his tongue out at Scott.
"Real mature."
"Just let me read it!" Scott handed it over.
"Hm... Aha... Well... Oh... You're not going to believe it..."
"What? What does it mean?"
"It's a direct translation... It means... Holy Bible."
"Well then, why don't we test this out. To the graveyard."
"Zoinks..."_________________________________________________When they arrived at the graveyard, they saw a bunch of creatures hovering over a fire, chanting. "Is it just me, or does this place scream evil?" Scott gasped. Phillip stopped short and stared at the fire. Did he see something Scott did not? "What? What is it?" "We have to hurry, they're getting ready for Freddy..." They ran towards the creatures and stopped and yelled, "Hey, freaks!" All of the creatures turned the heads around, and then stood up. Then, out of the fire, a creature arose. Freddy. "No..." Phillip said,
"we're too late."
"No, no we're not. We're just on time."
"Time for what?"
"The final showdown... Give me the Bible..."
"You can't read it!"
"Just do it!" Phillip handed it over.
"Hey there, kiddies! Dear old Freddy is back to play!" The monster said, cackling.
"Freddy! Go back to hell! We're done with you here!" Phillip yelled.
"Gahahaha! You're minor threats can't harm me!"
Just then, Scott began to read, "אף אני חוצה את העמק של בצל המוות, אני מפחד לא רע, כי אתה איתי; המוט ואת הצוות שלך שלך, הם לנחם אותי."
"Heh... heh... what?" <big>"אף אני חוצה את העמק של בצל המוות, אני מפחד לא רע, כי אתה איתי; המוט ואת הצוות שלך שלך, הם לנחם אותי."</big>
"Stop that!"
Then Phillip joined in, "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me" They both kept saying in unison, getting louder and louder, each word more powerful.
Suddenly, Freddy stopped and laughed. He kept laughed and then all of his zombies dropped dead. He then began to grow, three times their size. "So I see you two are those Christian types, eh? Well, can your God beat me as powerful as I-" Suddenly, I lightening bolt shot through the clouds and fired him, charring him. His body turned black and fell to the ground. Scott said. Then he felt his whole world spin and then turn black._________________________________________________When he woke up, he found all of his friends around him. "You did it, Scott!" Vilson said. "Mr. Vilson? Judy? Everyone? You're alive!" Scott yelled. "Thanks to you and Phillip." Judy said. "I have to wonder, how did you get the sword from inside of my house?" Vilson asked. "That is a long story. Well, you see..." They all sat around and listened to his story. As they laughed and had a good time, the clouds cleared and the sun shone through._________________________________________________
