In 2012, when NL came out in Japan, Nintendo released their own dream address with various patterns relating to both Animal Crossing itself and other Nintendo-related properties (including the usual suspects like Mario and Zelda, as well as stuff relating to titles releasing around the same time like Pikmin 3, Tomodachi Life and Splatoon).
However, very few got actual QR codes, so when they updated the Dream Address, these patterns were lost. In some instances they DID get QR codes but they've since been removed from Nintendo's website, so these patterns are also currently unavailable to actually officially get from Nintendo themselves.
About a year ago I noticed that Nookipedia had the vast majority of these patterns on the "list of official patterns" page, so I messaged the uploader DorsalAxe in the Nookipedia server, asked how they'd gotten them and asked if I could have copies to create QR codes that can be put on Nookipedia itself, and was sent a collection of actual QR codes, raw files taken straight from the game itself, and 64x64 upscales of a few of the oldest patterns from the first version of Nintendo's dream town.
After a long period of shrinking down the 64x64 files into their original resolution in Photoshop, loading those files and the raw files into ACPatterns, I've got QR codes of most (aside from some of the Pikmin 3 patterns, but I'll put my "guys, does anyone have these?" in another post in the thread) of these patterns now.
(I'm ashamed to say I haven't gotten around to actually uploading them to Nookipedia itself, but I will eventually sort that out)
I'm uploading them here (in several parts, as I can only upload 20 pics at a time) so they're available somewhere, so that people can actually use them in NL, NH, HHD and whatever AC game comes next.
