Ogre Masks: Not that rare?

You know:the blue and red ogre masks are both japan exclusives.
They usually sell for like 1.000.000 Bells in Animal Crossing.
But I saw some other japanse exclusives like the Newsprint Helmet or the Rice Cake.
These sell for much lower prices than those for the Ogre Masks.

They are like the seasonal items with the difference that only japanse players get them in a letter unlike the Ogre Masks or the Dango which are giving away from Totimer.

So the Ogre Masks sell for very high prices while the other japanse items only sell for 200.000 Bells until 500.000 Bells.That means the japanse items are very rare.But why do the Ogre Masks sell for more Bells than the other japanse items?They

Many people dupe the masks, so they can sell it. Then the process goes on

The demand is higher... so they get duped more... so the supply gets greater... so the price should eventually go down.

I don't know. I hate duping so much. It really ruins the rarity of items. For example, essentially NOBODY should be able to get an ABD for, I don't know, at least a year of gameplay. It is only through hacking and duping that anyone could possibly even own one of these.

The Ogre masks are one of the coolest region exclusive items out there. It really should sell for 1 million bells... except for the fact that people dupe the heck out of them. If there was no duping, then I would say the item's rarity coupled with its high demand would force the price to be that high.

second; everything from japan/korea is expensive and if you want something badly you're pretty likely to offer way more than it's actual value
