First off Leaf is the name of my island, I picked it because I was in a rush the moment New Horizons finished downloading on my switch because i was excited to play it.

The more I think about it, it's not a bad name since leaves symbolize change and new growth, which is why its my island name

My whole island is an empty mess as I'm currently flattening it, but also making a lot of improvements into it.

Here is the exterior of NH house which I'm planning on redoing someday

Day 2?

Sorry for not posting yesterday as my brain was dry and I didn't know what to add in my journal.

Anyways....
What happened the other day is that I took down my orchard and relocated it. I also moved all of my rare hybrids to the beach and sold the extras because I didn't need them. I also moved 2 villager homes to the beach so I can have an easier time planning my new island layout.

I also checked my NSO app and I didn't know this could happen.

Day 3ish?

I was burnt out after making that day 2 entry, but now I can do this again (I think)

Anyways...

Today, I just logged in NH, plucked a bunch of weeds removed a ton of flowers (nothing special actually). But I did get a chance to do Rudy's house in HHP.

He wanted an indoor sports arena if I recalled, but I made sure to also decorate the outside and added a volleyball area.

Inside has a basketball court, locker room (its actually a boring area) and a place to relax, play ping pong, pool and that's all i guess for now.

Day 4

Today I decided to terraform a part of my island because I came up with a new layout.

It's a sloppy and unfinished draft which means the plans could change anytime, but it's an idea on what I could add. Most of the areas are empty, but I'll make it look better time to time.

I also went did some hhp and did Hopkins house. I wanted to try something new by experimenting, even though it didn't match the house theme that much. Still proud of how it turned out.


Tommorow, I'll continue with my terraforming projects along with my hhp progress.

Day 5

I'm back again,

I didn't do much terraforming or progress on my NH island as I was very busy today, but I was able to work on Maggie's house in HHP. She wanted a garden, so I decided to experiment and try something new.

For the outside, I went for a white elegant themed garden. I'd add butterflies, but I didn't have any at the moment.

For the inside, I also wanted to try something new. Its a bit based on the hanging gardens.

After that, I stopped for the day since the rest of day very busy.

Day 6

I did some terraforming today and managed to make some progress again. I'm currently working on a European themed place right there. I'll get a chance to post it when I'm finished. That's not all I did today.

I did HHP again and did Sherb's house. He wanted a fairytale amusement park as his theme.

I went off with a pastel castle theme and added some star fragments outside

The inside. I made it an amusement park, but as you can see, I was plating around again with themes and came up with this.

I'm proud at the result even though it looks strange.

Day 7

So far, I did work on the place from yesterday and I made some decent progress on it, do note that it's unfinished and things could change in the future

This area has a Cafe, shopping center and a port for Redd's ship. You can see the Cafe on the left side of the picture. And then the stalls are the shops. Although later, I'm going to fix it by adding custom design path to make it look better.

And in HHP, I did Tammy's house. She wanted a place where she can make pasta so I made an Italian themed restaurant with a kitchen. Although the kitchen looks better than the rest of the house. I didn't bother doing the outside since it's actually plain

Day 8

I didn't feel like decorating that much in that area I was mentioning. Tomorrow, I might have to make some changes to it as I need to place the custom design paths. I mostly sorted my storage and took out all of the mom letters and gifts that are now stored for the time being. I also bought more medieval walls and etc from the catalogue.

After that, I did some hhp and did Pate's internet cafe. I might change it a bit more later in the future as I couldn't decide what else I could add there.

Day 9

I had the motivation to put down the custom design paths, I might change it in the future but it's fine for the time being.

It's a mess, but I'll manage to fix and make it look better later by adding stalls, adding items that are relevant to the theme and etc. It's also not final yet and there might be the time when I fully change it.

I also did some hhp again and did Ed's house this time. The outside is bare because I didn't feel like doing it unfortunately.

After that, I got a milestone of doing 100 houses, which I actually didn't know about and celebrated at the Cafe.

Day 10

I managed to somewhat managed to work on the portside area again. I'm quite proud of the result, but it's still not finished yet. I need to add more decorations and stuff to make it more lively. After that, im going to work on another project on the other area of my island.

I did Sprockets house in HHP as he wanted a robot factory. It's not much, but I wanted to play around with symmetry and try something new.

After that, I got promoted to legendary designer, which I didn't expect and had a party at the office, which marks the rest of my gameplay for today.

Day 11

I'm back again for an extra entry, just in case.For the past few days, I didn't have the motivation to play NH and I was busy on other games. But now, I finally played a bit of NH again and did a little progress.

I finished working on Carmen's house for now. However, I'm going to remodel it whenever I have the motivation to do it, since I'm not proud of how it went, i didnt add much since i was going through a small creative block.

I didn't do anything else on my island today since I also have to go out later. I'll post another entry when I have the motivation to.

Ps. Now that it's my 10th entry, I may still post tiny updates about my island when I have the time.
