If you have any fossil coloured blue in the catalogue, then you can swap it for a fossil that is coloured red.

Now, does this mean you're out of luck if you don't own any blue-coloured fossils? Of course not, it ain't a Swap&Shop with only the swap! I'm also selling fossils for 5000 in-game bells, or 3 TBT-bells per piece.
