One Particularly Persistent Deleted VM

Right, so, one of the VMs sent to me was deleted before I could see it. It's no big deal; it just leaves a stain on my user page letting me know that it was deleted, right?

That's not what's bothering me.

When one visits their own page, usually their VM notifications are cleared. However, I'm assuming that, since it was deleted before I could see it, it's not registering that it's been read.

Which means that the unread VM notification isn't going away. Which I don't find to be very cash money.

Is there perhaps a way that I could fix this?

Have you tried turning it off and on again? In terms of disabling the VM feature in Settings then just enabling it again.

Yes, I have tried that. The notification disappeared while it was off but reappeared when turned back on.

I suppose I could keep it off, but I'd rather not have to go through PMs every time I have a direct conversation.

It can happen when someone deletes a VM they sent you before it has been read. Did the notification go away now?
