I just wanted to see another persons viewpoint of the game and what other people feel about it being made.
In my book, I don't think anyone will get any entertainment out of this game. It takes away the whole story and formula of animal crossing and isn't really what people would find interest in... :/

I don't see the point of this game (other than make loads of money) since you can pretty much do the same for your houses in New Leaf. I mean pick a theme and design! Besides, they're using the same items (some new but still) as in new leaf. When you've played NL long enough, you're already bored with them.

An entirely new game should have been made instead of this piece of junk. Tell me, how much is this going to sell for? You have to buy a New 3DS or the accessory? Why not just make QR Codes? Oh stupid me, money! *facepalm

I respect everyone who's going to buy the game, when you're a hardcore fan, it's easy to understand but unless they make it cheap, I don't see myself buying it and feel ripped off. I'd be glad to get it as a birthday gift but even then, not sure I'd enjoy it that much.

That's just my opinion of course but lately, Nintendo has been finding so many distasteful ways to make money, I don't trust them anymore with this kind of "inventions".

It's alright, I mean it's a spin-off who can possibly hate i-....

oh...never mind then...

Honestly, the were so vague about the game in their direct.
The fact that they didn't show off the game in its entirety just screams bad news to people.

Not to mention, a lot of people think that this game is actually the next installment in the AC series...when in actuality its a spin-off, and I don't see the big deal about it.
People should be happy about Animal Crossing is getting a spin-off, it shows that Nintendo actually considers AC to be one of their big franchises along with Zelda and Metroid.

So here's my 2 cents about it, I shall bid u adeu.

I don't know about you guys but I don't see myself jumping through hoops to get a hold of villager cards. Unless, of course, I wanted to be greedy and sell the rarest on ebay for tons of cash! This is going to spread like wildfire! Pokemon was just a test, here come the AC cards!

I want the game.
I have no skill whatsoever of designing in new leaf. My idea of a good room is egg sterero in corner coffee table in middle with a nice sofa, kicking back and listening to some kk slider songs.
AKA i wanna get gud

I think it'll be good. I like the interior designing aspect of Animal Crossing, so I'm sure this'll be fun for me.

Just wondering, how much would you be willing to pay to get it? Of course if you're really into interior designing, it's hard not to think about getting it.

You know, there's a rule of thumb here: do not judge a game before you play it. For movies, don't judge before you watch. Same with TV shows. Since you shouldn't be judging a game by the previews, I'm not going to place an opinion here.

But I can say this much. I would be interested into buying it, even if it were a spin-off. I would also be okay with a spin-off that is all about placing PWPs or all about gathering artifacts for the museum. But what I liked about AC for a long time was interior designing. That's why I would try it.

well for people who just like designing their house I suppose then it would be a good option for them to check it out. myself however it doesn't look that interesting, sort of just an easy way for them to make money off animal crossing without it being animal crossing. for now i can say i'll be among those who ignore it but who knows my opinion could change come fall.

Agreed, it kind of just seems like a method to make money from it.
Only if we were somehow able to transport the villager interior house design made in Happy Home Designer into our Animal Crossing New Leaf villager's interior. Then it'll seem a bit more interesting

If the game is just buy a card, scan, design a villager house, over in 5-10min's, than I definitely won't buy.

But I don't believe that Nintendo will spend so much, in making the game, produce the cards and ship it world wide, just for such a function.

So I truly hope, more news will be release as we near the launch date.

To be honest, I don't think I'd pay ?30-?40 for the game. I think ?20-?30 is a price I would pay.

I think it's a waste of time. Just take Animal Crossing and remove nearly everything that makes it Animal Crossing... and you've got this thing.

I mean, unless there's like a whole "story" to it, there's no point in it even existing.
This should be a smartphone game.

honestly, i dont know enough about this game the form an opinion on it yet.

if they announce more to it than just designing houses then i may end up liking it, but for now anyway, i wouldn't say i dont like the game, but i just dont care for it.
