I think the background should be a neutral color, such as gray, and then have Pink in her actual colors and the word "P!nk" in a vibrant hot pink. Maybe add a bit a a design in the background and blur it a little, and scootch the picture of Pink over to the right some, so that way it's kind of in the middle. 
Let me say some things then.
The border/emboss is pretty bad, you should just make a simple one or remove it.
The render shouldn't be black and white, it doesn't go with the pink imo.
I hate the outer glow on the render and text, kinda basic.
The text should be closer the to render as there's going to be 2 focus points.
Needs to blend and have some depth.
The background is kinda weird but I would probably say add a stock with some c4d's and effects or just a plain background, Backgrounds don't really make a sig a sig, it's mostly the effects.
Anyway, My CnC isn't the best but 80% of it is probably true. I know you will improve, I was a beginner once and I'm still learning, Some of my sigs still suck but keep trying and trying and you'll improve, play around with the tools and watch tutorials but make sure that you don't follow the tutorials step by step since, add and change some things into it.
