Every page is loading very slowly today, starting this morning. I have gotten the "database" whatever message several times, also. What's up?

Anyone else having any trouble? I have cleared my history from my browser... no change. It isn't my browser or computer. Internet same speed as it normally is...

ADDENDUM: Uh, yeah, lots of double posting the last week or so, too....

AND, trying to post a reply in a thread, and nothing showing up...

AND, trying to post a reply in a thread, and nothing showing up...just kidding, trying to post a reply in a thread and getting asked if I want to leave the site when it hasn't posted my reply yet.

Yup, annoying!

Oh, and I forgot at least one other issue: when you click on likes it takes a long time for the like to show up...

What's happening? I hope you'll try to fix it really soon.

Yeah, that's life. Should clear up after a bit. Isn't so bad now - I gave up completely earlier.

*frantically raises hand* Me! I've been having problems off and on for at least a week. Last night the forum completely went down for me. I was getting 505 error messages, 503 error messages & the database page you've been getting. I've cleared my history about a 1000 times this past week, ran malware & virus scans & logged in and out repeatedly. I have items I'd like to give to other members but can't stay on here longer enough to complete the trade. It's very frustrating!

Yeah it's been happening to me all day. I also keep getting the double post thing.

so i spoke directly to justin about this via dm on discord. I?ll quote his exact words:
tbt?s in the process of shutting down.

my deepest, darkest fear realized :(

Like this post if you're getting to the point to where you just want to close TBT out of your browser. (I mean, you can't be mad that this is all running slow. They'll fix it.)

More importantly, I got a call from Nintendo about where's the AC Switch. And they said these exact words:

Animal Crossing has been cancelled

Our deepest, darkest fears realized.

TBT better not shut down. I just started on this forum a month ago and it's where I do all my AC:NL deals. I have tons of friends on here too that I'd pretty much lose.

I think most, if not all, people have been getting this error.
I haven't gotten any database errors (or any errors for that) today, but it's been really slow.

Yep.
When this happened on forums I ran years ago, a good old clean out of old topics made the world of difference.

Flush them out in SQL, or whatever it is these days.

As much as TBT could probably do with a spring cleaning, I really doubt it will happen.
