Paintings missing from museum?

I feel quite stupid for only just noticing this but there is no longer a painting/statue section of the museum? I'm not sure if that is gone forever or something to be unlocked in the future.
Also does this mean that Redd is going to be added to the ever-growing list of NPC's missing from NH, I quite liked looking through his fake paintings.

i really hope it comes later on in the game or something, because i loved having to spot the difference between the real and fakes. it was annoying to try and avoid being tricked sometimes, but also entertaining in its own way, so let's hope we'll see redd make a comeback.
