Palia (MMO Game)

I've just downloaded this game (on Switch), and I have to say it is basically a free version of that Disney MMO game with a mix of AC/Zelda/SoS.

The story is basically that this world's humans mysteriously went missing long ago, but now they (i.e. the players) are back. You can choose to follow the story, maintain a farm, or just go fishing - the game has NO deadlines for any quest! Plus, here are no health bars or fall damage to worry about (the closest the game has is Focus which helps increase your Skill XP and depletes over time but can be replenished with food). The only downside is there's no Overworld Map, so it's very easy to get lost. But I highly recommend the game, and if you're already playing it are you enjoying it so far?? I've personally only played maybe 3-4 hours so far, and I almost have my house ready.

I've played a decent amount of it. It's a chill comfy game in some ways similar to Animal Crossing: making friends with the NPCs, bug catching, fishing, crafting furniture. The visual style and house building slightly reminded me of Wildstar. Would recommend.

I tried to play it on my switch. The progression was too slow for me, and it felt like crafting was poorly explained. I played for about a week and lost interest haven’t touched it again since.
