Humanoid-Animals (kemonomimi) that each have a certain smell, which is emitted from the parfian gland located at the base of the ear.
Appearance:
Parfenes are humanoid creatures, having physical human attributes such as face, eyes, nose, legs, arms, organs, etc. All parfenes have a pair of animalistic ears and a tail (unless lost due to injury). Markings on the parfenes ears show what fragrant note it will emit. The scent of the parfene gives off a calming effect, as well as giving off a chemical which to humans, numbs the eye senses and hides the tail & ears of the parfene, therefore looks also human. Parfenes' scent is a pheremone, naturally used to attract others of the same species.
There are 3 main common classes, the citrus , the floral and the spice classes & within the classes are notes that belong in each class [CLICK HERE FOR LIST]. There are different markings to represent each note. Parfenes can also obtain other rarer notes by having parents of two different classes, e.g;
floral + spice: wood class
spice + citrus: green class
floral + citrus: fruit class
Parfenes also have a tail, or a double tail (rare), the tail features marks and patternings. Parfenes are usually pale due to lack of natural pigmentation in their skin, and it is common to be born with heterochromia.
Lifestyle:
Parfenes, like most humanoids do not last forever, the average lifespan of a parfene ranges between 90 - 105yrs of age, and reach maturity at a late age of 40. They mainly reside in natural areas. They live amongst humans, but normally stray to unpopulated areas.
parfene is a closed specie created by peoyne. I do not claim perfume, animals, kemonomimi or any other attribute for only my use.
