Ooooh nice! I've seen that some of these get unlocked through completing Nook Mile's things! I'm most likely going to stick with Nook Inc's Island Dweller for the beginning until I unlock something more fitting
 
As I said in a different thread, I'm a big fan of Horizon-Bound, and will go with Horizon-Bound Lad for awhile. Personally, I'm hoping that Nook Miles connected to very specific tasks will give specific titles, not just the obvious like bug or fish related ones. I'm particularly hoping for titles that refer to how helpful you've been to the museum or working on landscaping.

The little "Resident Rep." Stamp on the photo makes me think that must be our new job title in this game. Instead of Mayor it looks like we are are the Resident Representative.

Exactly my thoughts too! It’s a little less iconic than saying Mayor X, but I’m glad we still have a designation of sorts. It also works well as a description of our role on the Island imo.

Reminds me of early 2000s kids internet games like Star Stable and Pirates of the Caribbean where you can choose a preset name for your character by combining 3 random words.
 
I agree with Festive Grandpa or Very First Grandpa haha! I tend to feel like a crotchety old man : )

I’m pretty confident there’ll be lots more! We’ve already seen a few other options in other videos, and it looks like they’re earned and unlocked over time. I’m expecting at least double that amount tbh. :3
