Wow guys this is the third software update for Animal Crossing New Horizons in one week! Nintendo has just released patch 1.1.4 on April 6th.

This update is going to be music to the ears of people who are fed up with the Bunny Day event already. Are you infuriated with the amount of balloons flying overhead? Are you going to lose your mind if you pull out another egg from the sea rather than a fish?

Well your suffering is over. The spawn rate for certain eggs has been reduced until April 11th! This will be increased again on April 12th as that is when Zipper T Bunny returns to celebrate Bunny Day. But until then, we have 6 whole days of reduced stress.

The second issue that has been addressed in this patch is an interaction with Flick. Flick is an awesome red chameleon who hosts the bug-off tournament. He also sometimes visits your island to collect insects in return for models. Unfortunately there was a glitch where he would return the wrong model if you handed him scarab beetles.

So what do you think of the latest patch? Are you over the moon about the reduced egg drop rate? Or have you been enjoying collecting eggs and crafting the special recipes?

Have you come across any other issues in game that you want Nintendo to address?

I have been enjoying Bunny Day stuff, but I do agree that the water eggs spawned too much (making it harder to get actual fish) and the bunny balloons spawned too much (you could easily get all of the recipes in a few days even if you don't play much, making the fact that it's a 12 day event irrelevant).

My prayers have been answered. I had a fishing competition with my friends and across 10 minutes I could catch only 4 fish and my friend 5. We each walked away with as many eggs as we could carry from it, though... :cautious:

Have we always been able to drag and drop items in our inventory? Cause I just discovered it lol
Yes, that's been in the game since the beginning.

Awww I loved them. I have a 30 stack of each set aside, I've made everything except two or maybe three things and I've been putting any spare eggs in the drop off box... I made 25k from them yesterday without even trying.

I do understand that my opinion of Bunny Day isn't shared by all though and I guess I'm glad they are addressing these complaints. I really was enjoying it just the way it was though and think there are bigger issues for them to be looking at fixing right now.

I have been enjoying Bunny Day too. But I think it needed to be balanced for both casual and hardcore players.

Its good that they are fixing issues, but I believe they need to address some other items first such as the amiibo glitch and possibly making the cherry blossom DIYs more common as many players struggle to get even with extensive playing time trying to do so.

I was excited to read this thread.

Then I was disappointed.

I was really hoping for more villager patches. I hope they get to them soon.

I'm mostly surprised at how many updates ACNH has seen in one week as opposed to ACNL, which didn't have so many all at once.

I do agree with this, but also bear in mind that there will be children playing this who likely have less experience and very possibly limited screen time. You can absolutely still grind the regular game at the old egg spawn rate... I was managing just fine at least, it's really not that big an inconvenience. But by reducing the rate of eggs, people who cannot play all day, every day are possibly going to miss out, and I do think that's a real shame because "hardcore gamers" can't handle selling excess eggs.
