Huh. I do all this work with gathering and organizing stuff for my stores and everything, but no one even comes by. Man, I knew people only wanted DLC crap. XD
Another pet peeve of mine on here: Rich people. I'm talking disgustingly rich. First incident: Like a month ago i REALLY wanted Chief in my town (super dreamie of mine. Was pretty much my favorite in City Folk and waited for him to move in my town just ONCE for YEARS.), so I searched for some threads that were selling or trading him. I finally find this recent auction for him (I hate auctions so much...) And I'm like "Oh yay my chance for my ultimate dreamie! I hate auctions but...this is my only chance right now." So I post my offers.
Theres this one other guy who wants him too, and we both increase by like 500,000 IGB or something. Getting a bit desperate, I increase by 1 mil. The guy increases by 1mil as well. Now the offers are getting a bit high. Now I'm thinking "Uh oh, This is getting a bit much. I've only got 17 mil in my ABD and I'm willing to pay only so much for a villager." I wanted Chief so badly, so i increase by 2mil. Go big or go home right?
Welp, I went home. (Don't worry, story has a happy ending.)
This SUPER RICH person makes an offer that has me staring at the screen for a minute or so. 20 MILLION. I'm like "WHAT?! I don't even have 20 mil in my account!!!" Safe to say, I was very mad. This is exactly why i hate auctions so much. No matter how badly you want the item, There will ALWAYS be someone willing to drop a huge sack of bells just cuz' they can throw it around. Not even giving us more 'middle class' folk a chance. In the end though, Someone contacted me saying they could sell me Cheif. I was very happy after that.

This is going both ways, when im selling something or someone else is selling and i post making an offer. Like in my old hybrid shop (best example), pretty much half of the people who put in a request never responded back to me. These big orders of hybrids and im like "Ya sure ok I accept your offer" then 3 weeks later...still no reply. Uhhh?
Then this one person had a thread for just about anyone who needed help (like the one i've got), and i desprately needed help because i had a bunch of turnips to sell. I post saying i need to visit and sell all my turnips and their like "Yeah totally you can come over in a bit." Sweet! Well hours pass by, and i VM them like 'Hey are you ready for the turnip thing yet?" They then act as if they've never seen me before. Seriously dude??? So then i had to ask someone else for help.
After many times of this happening on my threads i just said "I've had enough." So now if someone posts a request on my thread, and doesn't get back to me in a while, I just unreserve the item they asked for and make it available again. Like that guy from Naruto says: "I hate to be kept waiting." (Eh? Eh? Anyone? Ok ;-; XD) Keep this in mind if you plan on visiting my threads. Comon people, I check often XD
