Phineas were did ya go?

ok so i played animal crossing and went to the city i got an item from phineas and ever since, he never returned how do i get him back or when will he return??

Well in case nobody knows:

If everyone who plays has their clocks set up to match real time, then Phineas should appear on the same exact day in the city as everyone else (with clocks matching real time). One of the developers explained in Iwata Asks.

Well i'm sure some of us are off by a minute or so, no one could possibly be up to the exact time, the odds of that happening are astronomically low.

Well not like literally the exact time, but the same days. Like if you go to the city and phineas is there, go meet up with a friend in real life who also has AC:CF, you can go "Hey Phineas is in the city today.". But thats more specifically toward everyone who has their clocks set up correctly to the approximate time.
