photoshop help?? bc idk where else to place this

so i watched a youtube video on how to make animated gifs and it told me to go to scripts>load file into stacks
but every time i do that it won't let me, it always says error and that some line doesn't have a constructor and i have no idea what to do D;

so if anyone could help me or teach me another way it would be much appreciated

Hi hi hi! Let's see if I can assist you. I am able to load videos/gifs into Photoshop using the "File>Import>Videos Frames to Layers" which can only be done if you've downloaded Quicktime I believe. There you can open "Window>Animation" to edit the frames you want to be in the animation and the speed you'd like them to be at.

i meant like adding photos and forming them into a gif.

This is pretty much how I make my gifs. Its all about layer visibility. The tween section is optional, idk i never use it haha.

But if you're talking about turning video clips to gifs, DarkDesertFox has the right idea.
