So my photoshop trial has ended, and I don't want to pay ?8 a month for the software. Is there any version (recent) of it that I can get with a one time payment legally? :eek:

wait, photoshop is a subscription? i always thought it was a 1-time payment kinda deal

i do think they just released a suite for free though :eek:

Maybe try going into a computer store (that also sells software) and see if you can buy Photoshop CS6? They should have an actual disc...I hope

nope, I think the ones without monthly payments are gone...
you can however, try and download the CS2 versions for free and see if they work on your computer!

hahah, i had the trial and cs2 before, but cs2 hurt my head ;v;

No you need to buy the product like everyone does.

I'm not asking for it for free, I want to see if anyone knows anywhere that sells it as a one time purchase.

Luckily, we get to use it for free at school :3

My school has it, but I probably wouln't be able to get a license from them :/

I've been reading up for a bit -- apparently the CS6 version costs almost around 6 years of subscription;;
so I guess if you're trying to get it legally, it might actually be better to just get a sub instead of buying CS6 (?) :/c
