Remember in the video it said something about there being three villagers coming to the island and you placed down one plot then it shows the person inviting Keaton to move in. So do you think there will be a choice of three villagers and you can choose one of them? Or do you think that it is still random move ins and the video was showing something different? I hope you have three to choose from.

Maybe those are the villagers that are rejected from other towns similar to the street pass stuff/online stuff in New leaf?
Honestly even if it's not the best it's still much better, you can pick which one you hate the least of the three XD

i perceived it as one of the 3 randomly moving to your island but maybe you get to pick? that’d be cool if you could!

I was under the impression Keaton was on one of those random islands and said person had an open slot for them to move into. I don't know if we get to choose or if those 3 slots is like the first island expansion and we get three random villagers.

To be honest, we have no idea how moving mechanics will work in this game, but it would be nice to see a variety of methods to move villagers into our town.

Honestly I?m kind of hoping for random. Part of the fun for me was knowing someone new was moving in and loading up the game to visit them for the first time.

Do you think we have to move villagers in or can we reject them?

I want to landscape and figure out where I want them to go, so I don't have to get rid of them for being placed in a spot I picked because I felt rushed.

That's why I wish no villagers were there from day one.

I know I'll end up putting them in a bad spot.

The direct implies you?d be able to move their house later. I feel like Nintendo understood that as our islands develop we may regret choices we made at the start so they?ll give us a chance to change them.

Awesome, because I know I won't know where to put them right off the bat. :)

That's the impression I'm getting. When it's time for a move-in, you get an amount of 'interested parties' to choose from.

I agree, that was the impression I got. So the only truly random villagers we should have are the starting 2. After that, I think we will probably get choices. I think that's honestly a great thing.
