'Ping' Question

Are they meant to do that?

Oh, and he was singing that I should stick with him and he'll take me on an adventure.. He then said "Sorry." And went off like nothing happened.

Yeah, sometimes the villagers ping and just talk to you about weird stuff sometimes. They don't always ping for something important.

They do all sorts of random stuff. I only speak to the villagers I hate when they ping me.
