It's been a rough few weeks and the other day I needed something to help distract my mind from all that's been going on. I started messing around in paint.net and the idea to make a little "2022" gif sort of popped into my head. I used only the pencil tool which was set to 1 for 99.99% of what I did. I didn't intend to have a background but it was hard to see animation without one. I used the paintbrush for the background but only the background. The whole canvas size is only 100 x 100. This goofy little gif took over 30 frames to make. I didn't even notice how many there were at first and I was kind of surprised when I finally counted them. I'm not even sure if this would count as a piece of pixel art. At one point I considered not even finishing it but figured why waste the time I'd already put into it. Anyway, here's my little "mental distraction" masterpiece. lol! Thank you for looking!
